Later, he studied under the famous Tibetan Buddhist teacher Lamrim Rinpoche (Lamrim Rinpoche) for a long time and became his main disciple. On April 11, 2008, he was suddenly detained by the Lhasa police on suspicion of "protest activities", and has since lost contact with him; other monk friends Gongjue Nyima and Ngawangjueni were also arrested; later he was arrested by the Lhasa City The police formally arrested him on the grounds that although he did not participate in the protest at the time, he failed to stop the monks in his temple from holding large-scale protests, which was a violation of regulations or relevant management regulations; , was finally secretly sentenced to life imprisonment by the Lhasa City Intermediate Court on an unknown charge; his right to defense was deprived, and so far there is no whereabouts of his health status
